You can force your opponent to make an error by:
- Keeping the ball in play.
- Hitting to their weakness (forehand vs. backhand / keeping them deep vs. drawing them to the net, etc.).
- Adding different spins (sidespin, topspin, slice, etc.).
- Changing the pace (slowing the ball down against the hardest hitters).
- Changing the height of the ball (not allowing them to hit at the same point of contact constantly).
- Changing their postion (hitting behind the player, away from where they are going).
- Forcing the big hitters to hit on the run.
- Forcing them to hit low percentage shots (down the alley, drop shot).
- Faking to poach or change position.
