Hitting with topspin can have several advantages for you and give your opponents fits. But to get that good net clearance you have to remember to swing from low to high with a brushing motion on the ball. One easy way to visualize topspin groundies is to think of the NIKE Swoosh. Many players have the picture of a good topspin shot right on the side of their shoes! Think of your racquet moving like the Swoosh. Just remember to take your racquet the path of the Swoosh and make sure you are swinging from low to high with a level racquet face. Think of the Swoosh for topspin and you'll just do it in no time!
