The USPTR certification course is called Tennis University I. It is directly
focused on becoming a tennis pro and it culminates in the test. I took the
course at Sweetbriar, VA; but it is also offered at Vandermeer's Tennis
Center in Hilton Head Island, SC. The web site is www.vandermeertennis.com
and the toll free number is 1-800-845-6138. Either this course or the USPTA
course is essential if you want to be a qualified, competitive, and
