>I would like to know if it is possible to
patch hard outdoor courts and what is the best material to
use so that the repair lasts for at least several years. The courts are
exposed to the cold winter's and hot summers. Patches in the past don't
seem to last more then one season before patched cracks start appearing
and opening up again.<
Ken,
There are many ways to repair but all are dependent on the specifics of
the damage. Repairs can be with a float of asphalt emulsion to an asphalt
skin patch. There are also acrylic latex and concrete patch products
available that I have had success with. ( I have specialized in repair of
tennis & basketball courts for 15 yrs. through my construction company. )
Again you need the proper product for your particular problem. I cannot
suggest a solution without additional info. Feel free to write with
particulars and I'll try to help.
