>Does anybody know about renewall of the surface on supreme (indoor) courts.
Painting or what? Or is it best to get rid of the old ones and buy new? <
A few years back one of my companies did the some of the court refurbishing
for Supreme Allweather, then the manufacturer of Supreme Court. Most notably
for the portable courts on the Virginia Slims Tour.
First we repaired any damage to the courts using a seam sealant. ( Local
hardware stores should be able to help you find a local brand for this. )
Secondly a thorough cleaning. ( soap & water works fine.)
( make sure you remove all soap residue )
After completely drying we applied two or three coats of a good quality
100% acrylic latex tennis court color without the added sand. Follow
directions for mixing and apply with a squeegee. ( you can also use a high
quality roller, but that's an awful lot of surface to cover.
Reapply lines with acrylic latex paint.
Feel free to contact me with any other questions.
