[tennisbiz] USTA Funding for CTA's

Bob,

I have been the chair of the USA Tennis Committee for South Carolina for the
past three seasons and have been the area liason for receiving over $25,000
in grants including 2 years of the USTA Target Market Grants under the Plan
for Growth. I was involved as a tennis director/owner with a private
institution AND was president of the community tennis association. I have
heard of no such protocol as a basis for that statement. Depending upon which
section of the USTA you reside in, I would contact the sectional office or
the national representative for your section.
