[tennisbiz] teaching pointers

Hi Everyone , I'am a rather new tennis instructor. And i have a student that
hits pretty well from both sides as far as her ground strokes go .MY question
is ,is it too soon to teach her a slice back hand and a spin serve.
She is really having problems with it. But I see it as just the early stages
of the stroke .And in the long run will be a more rounded player for starting
on it now.. Any other teaching tips will be greatly appreciated..
