<x-charset iso-8859-1>To all those interested in Challenge Ladders, I have yet to find one that
is really good or any rules that are any good. Any time rules are made,
someone seems to find a way to get around them and the ladder becomes
stagnant. The best ladder format I have seen in all my years is the Pyramid
ladder where players can challenge players on the line above them. As far
as rules go, good luck. I have found that just having round robin weekends
for play seems to be just as effective in generating play and the club
championships are usually a way of determining the best players in the club
if that is what a person is looking for.
