[tennisbiz] Re: Racquet Stringing
Stringing:
First, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Michael Eilen, and I own the
company Custom Racquet Servicing. At my store, we generally will string one
piece because there is less tension loss, since you only have two knots. In
addition, almost every manufacturer reccomends their racquets be strung with
one piece, unless using a hybrid stringing combination.
Most people lean away from one piece because it is easier to measure for two
piece stringing, but here's a tip I use. If you have 16 mains, measure from
bottom of the head to top, 8 times. This will give you a perfect short side,
and your problems are solved.
