[tennisbiz] Where to aim the groundstrokes?

<x-charset iso-8859-1>Hi everyone,
I think we are overemphasizing the importance of depth
of the groundstrokes (and the serve) to the extent that
most of the
students have a mental image of the perfect
stroke which lands on the lines or at least few cms. inside the lines,
unfortunately on their trial to do so they miss lots of shots outside the
lines I think we can help by emphasizing the importance of a good safety
margin away from the lines especially that all the pro players are hitting
way inside the lines but the pace and the effect of the stroke give the
false impression of depth
