[tennisbiz] Re: Club Rules for Juniors
<x-charset iso-8859-1>Scott,
We have no age rules for unsupervised play at our private club. Our pro
shop is in close proximity to the courts so we can monitor activity pretty
well and will talk to the kids who may get a bit loud or out of hand with
their play. We do have one court that the juniors under 18 can reserve for
play. Adults have preference on all the other courts for play and
reservations.
We also will not rent our ball machine to juniors under 16 years of age
without adult supervision. We figure that if they are old enough to drive a
car, then they should be allowed to operate a ball machine without adult
supervision if they are 16 years of age or older. Any of you who have teen
age drivers may find this questionable at times.
