Dear Greg,
I have used quite a successful system here in my round
robin tournaments. If you have your normal round robin
system and you would have 12 doubles teams. Play it as
a normal round robin, but in each match the players
will swop partners. So 1&2 V 3&4. Play amount of
points. Then 1&3 v 2&4, repeat points and finally 1&4
v 2&3. All players will keep each score that they get
from each small match and add all 3 together. You
would then add 1&2's points and that would be the
teams points from that match.
