We use a contact management program called "ACT" by Symantec to track the
stringing department of our Pro Shops. I customized it with fields for date
strung, color of string, type of string, stringer, etc. We also use it to
send out reminder letters or discounts to our customers using customized form
letter templates mail merged with the database (sorted by date strung or
whatever field you want to sort by).

We have been pleased with the results as we have been using "Act" since 1992.
 Almost any contact management or database program can be used. A member or
friend with computer software knowledge can probably help you customize for
your particular needs fairly easily. Good luck.
