[tennisbiz] Re: Backboards
<x-charset iso-8859-1>Sara,
We have extensive experience with 2 types of backboards - One is the
decidedly high tech SportWall, comprised of anywhere between 2 and 5 panels
each 4 foot wide by 8 foot high. The system can be computerized for
targeting and scoring and is really great. The only drawback is price - this
system is not for the casual player, as the cost starts at about $1,300 for
a small, non-computerized system.
As an excellent alternative, I suggest the Tennis Rebounder Net. It is the
largest and highest quality unit available at 6 foot wide by 7 foot high,
all galvanized steel for durability, and lightweight enough for 2 people to
easily move it for storage. It is double-sided, so 2 players can use it at
once. At $189.95, it's the best buy available.
Hope this helps!
