first, i would like to applaud all of your efforts in trying to answer mr.
rosenbaum's question. i believe the question asked about playability. you
can string the gut as a cross or main and the kevlar the same and it will not
change the playability! it may affect the durability, but not playability.
oddly enough, kevlar plays and responds more like gut than any other string.
this was proven in testing that was done by babolat. they took andre
agassi's rackets and strung one with gut as the main and the other with gut
as the cross and both played the same! for durability you would put the
kevlar in the main, but the question was about playability. good question!
