[tennisbiz] Age Discrimination

In our USTA section they have a rule that does not allow junior players to
play up more than one division. For example they would not let a 14 year
old play in an 18 and under tournament, no matter the level.

Is this age discrimination? If a14 year old is good enough to compete at
the 18 and under level, shouldn't they be allowed to compete? I have read
that Pete Sampras played up. I wonder where Pete would be if he was limited
in terms of what tournaments he could play?

I am interested in your thoughts......... espeicially if you are a
constitutional lawyer! Thank you!
