[tennisbiz] Two handed forehand
The best way to teach the two handed forehand (to a right hander)
is to have the left hand on the bottom and the right hand on the top.
Eastern forehand would be my preferable grip, but any grip should
do.
I prefer teaching kids two handed forehands if they are young.
Firstly, it makes the racquet lighter. Second, if forces the shoulder
turn and finally, there is a greater likelihood of hitting with topspin.
As kids get older, they can take their left hand off the racquet and
as they get used to hitting with one hand, slide their right hand
gradually down the racquet handle until they are hitting a normal
one handed shot.
