[tennisbiz] Re: about wild-cards ...

This is in response to paul fein's article. first, as a personal friend of
duke odizor and bryan shelton, i am happy that there are tennis fans that
know their names and appreciate their tennis abilities. however, after
traveling with duke for several years, there were many times that he was
passed up when wild cards where handed out. this happened more towards the
end of his career, which could have been part of it,but not once did we get a
justifiable answer as to why other players received wild cards instead of
him. being a true professional that he is, not once did he blame it on
racism, but there where times that we could only wonder. just to set the
record straight, i am a white male voicing my opinion on your article.
