I understand what you are saying however I do try and think a little at
least in a singles game. You know kind of like shooting pool and assuming
success with first shot so you need to "set" up cue ball for following shot.
If for example a singles player hits a down the line shot he/she should
automatically asuumes that the return will come cross court and position
his/her self accordingly. That is what I meant by thinking. Perhaps the
right word to use would be strategizing effectively. Thanks for the
information on golf but my game is tennis so any tennis books you know of
regarding this subject would be helpful.
Its kind of funny because lots of people prefer to play doubles and I love
the competitiveness of singles.
To me its like a dance and can be quite graceful to watch.
