[tennisbiz] Re: Teaching vacations
To reply to Mike Pasierb's question on PCA resort trips. They are excellent.
Mark Burns does an excellent job. My wife and I went to Antigua, January,
'99, almost four years ago. I taught two hours in the morning and was
suppose to teach or run events for two hours in the afternoon, but no-one
ever showed because it was too hot. I don't know how much he charges to set
it up but it was $150 then and you brought a racket and a case of balls (used
or new), pay for your airfare and the rest is well worth it. The lessons you
give are usually 1/2 hour lessons which we all know go very quick. The
resorts are all inclusive. A massive savings to you.

Good Luck.
Also, to pose a question for the pondering minds over a single-handed
backhand vs. a double-handed backhand. What does anyone think about a
double-handed backhand to return serve and a single-handed topspin or slice
when in a rally situation.
Look forward to hearing others' thoughts.
