If a name band in a concert has an "opening act", they both may
put the same amount of time on the stage. Think they get equal
pay?

Don't think so.

It is not about how much time the players put on the court that
should count. It is how much income they are bringing to the
people who are putting on the tournament.

If women draw as much as men, they should get paid as much. If
they draw more then they should get paid more.
