[tennisbiz] Extending Court Life
I have worked and continue to work at institutions that refuse to spend
money on resurfacing hard courts sooner than every 8-10 years. I suspect
that court cleaning extends the life of the surface, but details are
needed to make an argument for labor and equipment:
1.How often should courts be cleaned and does cleaning really extend the
life of the surface?
2.If so, can it buy another year or two?
3.Does cleaning involve just hosing down with water and/or a cleaner?
4.If a cleaner is used, what kind and how is it applied?
5.Is pressure washing part of any cleaning process?
6.Are there publications that discuss this issue?
7.Comments on other inexpensive ways to extend court life.
All comments are greatly appreciated.
