[tennisbiz] Re: Windscreens
What is a rather windy spot?
Here in CO. we can get spring and autumn winds in the 60-80's (mph)
I Would go with a heavy duty vinyl coated poly. Dura screen is the best bet.
If you are going to take them down and put them up I would use a 120lb tie.
I might suggest using 9ga galvanized hog rings on the top with 120 lb ties
on the sides. I would alternate the 50 lb. and 120 lb. ties on the bottom.
I would cut sides and bottoms when it's time for take down and just roll up
the screens. That's the easiest, but easiest is not always the best.
Screens will hold up a little better if you do the complete up and down
process every year, but when you calcuate that cost, well the call is yours.
You should not pay more than $3.00 per linear foot for 6' and $ 4.50 for 9'.
If you want a quote let me know, I could have them drop shipped directly to
you.
With regards,
George
