[tennisbiz] Slats in fence instead of windscreens?

<x-charset iso-8859-1>I asked a bit ago about windscreens and have received some responses mainly
from commercial groups. Thanks to those who responded.

In looking into windscreens for these highschool courts another in our group
has been looking at slats that can be inserted into the fence.

I have never seen this done for a tennis application but the person looking
into it is keen on the idea because of the potential of less maintenance and
possibly more longevity (ones he got quotes on were supposed to last 15
years and cost about the same as windscreens).

Can anyone tell me if they have used slats instead of windscreens and what
the pro's or cons of this approach would be.

Has anyone seen slats used as windscreens for tennis application?
