[tennisbiz] Re: Outdoor/Indoor Tennis
Randal,
Many years ago, while I was living in Sweden, over one of the courts, we had
a metal structure holding up the 'tarp' instead of using a regular bubble.
In the summer, we would roll up the sides, leaving an 'outdoor court' with a
roof for sun- and rain protection, and the regular indoor background behind
the baselines.
The only disadvantage, with our implementation was that at certain times of
the day, the sun would come in at an angle, creating a difficult light with
three quarters of the court in the shade and the rest in sun.
This could obviously have been fixed by using some sort of 'wings' extending
the roof outside the regular side walls.
