[tennisbiz] Re: College Tennis
As the editor of two college tennis sites, I can certainly offer you advice.
http://www.CollegeAndJuniorTennis.com is a free publication
that lists all college rankings and national results, as well as Campus
Notes, our column on miscellaneous college information. It is updated
daily and will give you a good overview of American tennis.
The official Intercollegiate Tennis Association site is at
http://www.itatennis.com. Here you can find every detail you need to
know about American tennis. They also have some publications available.
Next, consider our new site http://www.CollegeTennisConnect.com
(which requires a subscription to cover our maintaining it)
provides unlimited access to searching for colleges based on
division, major and location; a monthly guide to college planning;
coaches contact information; and scholarship listings.
Be careful of sites/people that ask for hundreds (and sometimes thousands)
to help you get into college. Coaches rarely listen to these people and
it is a waste of money. If you have any specific question, feel free to
e-mail me.
