ability for the string bed to allow the ball to compress at
contact, takes the natural body weight out of the shot, and
most importantly, I really belive that most tennis elbow
problems are caused by "the death grip".

Just be sure your speakers are on...
I teach my students to "not fight the ball at contact" and to
simply believe there is no need for strength at the contact
point as a major event.
