[tennisbiz] Re: Request for suggestions about ball hoppers
After 30 years of teaching tennis, I sympathize with all comments
completely. Two suggestions since not everyone likes tubes (although we sell
them as well):
1. Durahopper (doesn't stand up, but I dare anyone to break a weld under
normal use) - quote me on this if you ever break one. We have 500 hoppers in
use over 2 years without a single complaint.
2. Master Pro Hoppers - stand up. Will far outlast the ones commented on
below. I have one year of testing without weld problems or bending of the
pick-up section. In stock in about 3 weeks. See our catalog or call for one
for photos and improved features over other hoppers.
The Durahopper would be the hopper of choice for abuse. Only $20-25
depending on volume.
SORRY to be promoting our own products this way, but the fact is that there
is a problem with hoppers in the tennis industry and we have tried to help
with a BETTER mouse trap. It ain't sliced bread but it is a solid step
forwards. And, yes, we stand behind our products.
