Answering the phone in a pleasant, helpful manner serves callers well.
That voice, no matter if from the White House or a tennis facility, is
the first contact that a caller makes. Manners matter here. A
non-interested, unaware "clerk" at a tennis facility could turn off a
caller and, perhaps, lose their business.
Suggest in the guidelines to be cheerful, eager and polite. These
characteristics are in demand, never go out of style, serve both the
employee and the customer, and will retain business in the long term.
