Andrew,
I'm a little confused by your term "clinic"? If the idea is to correct or
change technical flaws in a stroke as
in a "stroke clinic"
 then changes should be taught and/or corrections made to improve
techniques; if your "clinic" is really a workshop i.e. an Area Training
Center, Sectional Camp, or National Team event, the definition you chose
would apply.
The player, coach, and parent should be clear as to the intent of the
program before they attend the event.
