[tennisbiz2] Re: Cues for coaching children
One of the best ideas I can take credit for in my entire 34 years of
teaching tennis costs virtually nothing and works wonders. Almost every
single child knows the game "connect the dots" ("dot to dot" in England).
Just get some peel-off and stick-on little dots in a stationary or office
supply store. For a right-hander hitting a forehand, place one dot on the
child's right wrist and one dot on the opposite shoulder. Then, just have
them hit and finish by "connecting the dots." Do it the opposite way for the
two-handed backhand.
Have fun!
