[tennisbiz2] Re: Code of Behavior
I work at a club with "Water Only" signs on every court. This, of course, is
due to stains from spilling. It's a fair request. When the kids bring
gatorade to camp, they have to leave it behind the court.
I play in a league in Philadelphia that has a "no tolerance" cell phone
rule. If your phone rings during play, you lose your match. It's that simple. And
yes, it has happened and the rule was enforced.
I agree that it's not proper to run a drill court or lesson next to a match.
Whenever
possible, I choose a court away from match play. However, indoors, it's not
as simple. You get whatever court is available, and it could be next to a
league match or contract. Often the argument there is not the balls, but the
noise.
