I absolutely agree with the pairing concept. Minimize line drills whenever
possible. Mix in grop drills, for warm-up, fun int hemiddle, and cool down
at the end. Include some Simon Says Games. This will help bring the group
together, even if they are different ages, and abilities.
During your water breaks, go from one to the other and have them share quick
(and clean) riddles and jokes to liven things up and keep them smiling.
