Iount,
There are many very good web sites on the internet that have great tennis
teaching materials. One you might try is www.uspta.com. It has information
from teaching beginners with the USPTA "Little Tennis" Site to the Lessons
on Line segment with educational audio and video clips. The USPTA is
building a comprehensive "Player Development Program" that covers all
aspects of today's modern game. and there are some very good segments
available at this time on the USPTA site.
Tennis.one is a good resource for education and John Yandell has a great
site with slow motion video of the present day top players on
TennisPlayer.net.
There are many books on the market on every topic dealing with tennis, but I
still feel that one can get a lot out of reading "The Inner Game of Tennis"
by Timothy Gallwey and Jim Loehr's video on the "16 Second Cure".
Also the USTA has some excellent information on their site on High
Performance at http://www.playerdevelopment.usta.com. Another good
resource for education is from the TIA on Cardio Tennis at their site
www.cardiotennis.com.
We are so lucky in today's world to have such a great amount of tennis
education and resources available at our fingertips.
It is exciting to hear from everyone on this site who have a desire to
continue their education and search for ways to do better at teaching and
programming our great game and the responses from those who wish to share
their experiences and knowledge.
