attrition

I think our attrition rate is running pretty even with our new members
that are coming on board. I personally hate attrition but have begun to
accept it as unavoidable in most cases.
I am owner and head pro, and take it personally, but try to keep people
involved in our programs if at all poss.
I have found that word of mouth is by far the most effecvtive means of
advertisement, that people have to learn the skill before they will join
our club, and that then they must fit in socially as well.
This is my first post, but would like to be involved much more. I always
have questions that seem to be unique to ownerss so maybe we can help
eachother.

I have an interest in attending an owners conference(CMAA) if anybody
has an idea where to start I would appreciate it.
