Through my one-man company, Triangle Software, I have designed two ladder
programs which take away 'the blahs' from tennis ladders. One is a regular
'bump-ladder', called ACTIVE-LADDER, which replaces challenges with
scheduled matches to be played by a deadline date. The second is a 'point
ladder' , called FILE & RANK, where you earn points by winning matches
(different points, depending on the level of the opponent), or, as an
option, by having good losses. With this program you can combine scheduled
matches with matches initiated by the players themselves.
Both programs have been running successfully at many different clubs and
other tennis sites. I will be happy to discuss details, if you send me an
