The USPTA offers a Certification Training Course prior to most all of their
Tests. It is a forum for interaction and participation by the attendees.
It is held in a relaxed and somewhat informal learning atmosphere. It
provides a combination exam preparation and general education format. And
it is a concise, organized summary of pertinent topics. This course
benefits the attendee because it prepares tennis teachers for the
Certification Exam; prepares current members for upgrading their current
pro rating; serves as a general educational workshop; serves as a forum for
exchange of ideas, experiences and audience participation format.

The USPTA Certification test is one of the most difficult if not the most
difficult test to take for certification to become a tennis professional.

There still must be some studying by the student on their own and the USPTA
has a very good offering of study materials. You can contact the USPTA for
more information at their web site at www.uspta.org

The USPTA Hawaii Division is a very active division and the top teaching
professionals on the islands are members.
