"Some tennis clubs offer scholarships" for kids that cannot afford to
play indoors. Find me a club in southern NH that offers this. It is
non-existing as far as I know. The clubs in southern NH are so
expensive that the average working person cannot afford to play anymore.
I am one of those people. I have played tennis for over 15 years. I
support myself, and can no longer afford to play indoors. My club has
raised the prices dramatically this year, and has lost many of the
working people. The sport has always been for rich people, and when
club owners tried to lower the prices to fill their clubs, they found
that they cannot make a profit. So they tell me. I think it stinks!
Especially for our children and grandchildren.
