Regarding ball machines, under $1,000 with A/C is no problem. You can get a
number of options that are either wheel driven or pneumatic (as with
Lob-Ster). There are probably 6-8 choices. There are also a lot of
distributors of these machines. Choices get narrowed when they choose
between remote or no remote, oscillation patterns, and whether or not they
want spin (which leaves out the possibility of a pneumatic). Several years
ago I wrote an article for Tennis and Tennis Buyers Guide on ball machines
which offered comparisons. This is what started me in the direction of
distributing what I decided were the best on the market.
