[tennisbiz] College Tennis - TV

I have always wondered why we don't see more college tennis on TV. I
personally would love to see some of the big match-ups. They could make it
interesting by switching back and forth between matches and creating
excitement, creative camera work. Sure it would be a losing proposition at
first but I think it would behoove the Tennis Industry to sponsor this
endeavor. It seems to me that the tennis industry is always pushing the USTA
to get more people playing so they can expand their markets but I always see
other industries sponsor the most of the tournaments. So why don't they let
loose of the purse strings and help college tennis. I even see more girls
softball then I see college tennis on TV. Give me a break.
