Not everyone likes seemingly endless baseline rallies, with players only
venturing to net by accident or in desperation. changing the rules of a
game to make it more entertaining doesn't always work very well; if you
have doubts about that, watch an NBA game today and then look at NBA tapes
from 30 years ago. . . .today's game is a dreadful parody of the runnin'
and gunnin' and defense of the "old" days. let's not take tennis down the
same path, please.
