[tennisbiz] spin / tension
<x-charset iso-8859-7>I was always under the impresion that higher tensions means more spin(a
tighter string should normally bite deeper into the ball felt, thus
producing more spin).
But some time ago, I heard Tim Henman on an interview, saying that lowering
the tension on
his racquets for the clay court season has given him more spin potential.
When I started asking around, I found out that no one could give me a
straight answer on that question.
Any documented opinions?
