[tennisbiz] High school tennis seasons

<x-flowed>I'm a public high-school tennis coach in Virginia. Boys' tennis has been a
spring sport, while Girls' tennis has been in the fall for large schools, in
the spring for small schools.

The state has decided, after having been told by the courts to align all
girls' tennis in one season, to put both boys' and all girls' tennis in the
spring. Part of the discussion includes the understanding that this is the
scheme used in 47 states. This does not seem right to me, but I'd like to
learn from people in the other states whether this is indeed true.

Do other states place both boys' and girls' high-school tennis in the spring
season?

I'd appreciate unofficial replies from people in the other states.
