[tennisbiz] 2 handed strokes
I must agree, 2 handed strokes are for the very few good athletes with
speed and brains. Whens the last time you saw a 2 handed backhand with
slice?.......Conners and Evert?
I point out to players that Agassi hits so many 2 handed backhand
slices when he rallies, but it goes on deaf ears.
Watching kids hit 2 handed backhands, late, low around the shins, and
then watching these strokes go into the net or 10 feet long is the norm.
Most never bother to learn to hit a backhand half volley or backhand
drop shot once the put 2 hands on the racquet.
Except for the exceptional few, these 2 handed strokes set the game
back decades and make for poor recreational tennis.
