Coaches use the balls until they are too "worn down" to be used in teaching.
These balls are still good enough to use for recreational play (Not
competition). The balls would be "dead" and of no use to you if you want to
use them for teaching, but they would be OK to use for unofficial play on
public courts. If I had your address, and if you just wanted some balls to
use in playing with your friends, I would send you some (free).
