the "Toss Doctor." It is a soft foam ball on an 18" elastic string, since
18" is about the same height from the extended hand to the point of contact
for anyone using an adult racquet of 27-28".

make your own. The good thing about the Toss Doctor is that a foam ball is
used, since many beginners are actually afraid of being hit by the ball on
the way down. This "fear factor" alone is part of why many beginners have
extended problems with their toss.
