Concerning the Golden Age for teens, you may be right about this growth
period hampering performance but my question is: even if this condition is
true, would it not work the same for the same-age opponent as well? So the
"Golden Age" factor might explain an over-all lower level of tennis during
early day matches of two teen opponents, but it would not explain more
losses. I don't think that it is possible to schedule around something like
this. I think you just prepare your daughter better than her opponents who
will have the same challenges relating to physical change at that age. You
may be ahead of many, just given you awareness and thought process.
