[tennisbiz] Request for clay court maintenance expertise

Hello everyone,

     At the Forest Park clay courts in Springfield, Massachusetts, our
colorful maintenance man wrote on our bulletin board in bold letters today:


     On Courts 5 through 8, the top 1/4" to 1/2" of surface is separating
from the base clay. I am conducting an experiment on Court 8 to figure out
what to do. If anyone knows how to correct this problem, please e-mail Bill
Rowe at Grandhare_at_aol.com.


     If any of you can help Bill, we at the Springfield Tennis Club, which
celebrated its
100th anniversary in 2002, would really appreciate it.
