I would be careful about slats in fences for high schools because high
school courts are often built on "low bid" and the foundation that holds the
fence is not always as strong as you would like. In our area, we had one
high school put up regular windscreens on fairly new courts, and the
addition of the windscreens in a strong storm caused the fence to fall over
because the foundation was not built with windscreens in mind
