Something I came up with to help build tennis skills for beginners is
to play without racquets. Doubles can be really fun that way.
Just have someone throw the ball into the service court and have
the same rules that you have with tennis, except that you throw the
ball.
Kids learn footwork, strategy, hand-eye coordination, the rules of
tennis and have lots of fun.
